Frei's new 71 bug

Here is my brothers new 1971 VW beetle, this is the oldest of the Swedish siblings, this is his second one, the first one is a dune buggy similar to a Manx buggy. This one has a 1300 cc motor in it, which is strange because the dune buggy has a 1300 cc motor in it.

Must be some sort of licensing thing, smaller motor smaller registration fee or some other such nonsense (The cars came with the smaller motors much to my brothers dismay)
