    Link to Burrs story

After a recent conversation with my brother where we talked about stories he remembered a story about three years ago when he and I went up to the city of Burbank in my VeeDubb (This was my brothers first ride in my Volkswagen bug and the only freeway trip in it, he likens the sound of the loud engine to flying a B-25) to go to Fry’s electronics to get DVD’s.

While going though the crowded isles of the DVD section there were two large queer dudes coming our way down the aisle. As they passed us I said in my Wild Bill voice from Silence of the Lambs “it puts the lotion on its’ skin” At which point one of them turned and scowled at Burr.

Burr was figuring that we were going to have a fight on our hands, and by the looks of it and ugly one due to the size of the queers.

This gets us thinking of the stories that sort of define us, the same couple of stories that you find yourself telling other people when describing your family, to realize that there are only a handful of really wild ones made me think that it would be good to turn them in to blog entries, as I am doing with this one here.

    Coming weekend

Although I am looking forward to this weekend with Jill, I am also saddened to see it come because I know that it will be the last weekend for a while, I need to get my self together and then fly her back out as soon as I can...
Side note: there is an easter egg in this post

Google Earth in Homeland Security Sights?

Is this a sign of the end of Google Earth?

Excerpts taken from a New York Times article

    JFK plot 'would kill thousands'

By Geoff Elliott in New York

    June 04, 2007 01:00am

"A CARIBBEAN-based terror cell with links to radical Islam plotted to launch a catastrophic terror strike on John F. Kennedy International Airport, in New York, in an attack that could have claimed more lives than September 11.

The plot included a former cargo handler at the airport and a Muslim cleric who had been a Guyanan MP and involved scouting the targets using the web-based satellite imaging tool Google Earth."

But it turns out that no one was in danger, "New York mayor Michael Bloomberg said the latest plot was only in its planning stages and at no point was anyone in imminent danger. "

Is this a sign that there are nails begining to be put in the coffin for google earth? Will it make a difference ? how about other services from abroad that offer similar services?
