Another flower shot

     This time shot with my 180mm at f2.8 in to the sun...
O.k. Shooting in to the sun isn't the best way of doing things and I might just have broken a rule or two but I got the shot I wanted with the out of focus and circles of confusion going crazy and a soft flower looking harsh and hard.

Some things just bug me

     So I decide to join my buddy at a silly event put on by a popular energy drink and found the escapades of getting there to be more arduous than I would have expected. The freeway was of course closed down to a couple of lanes in several spots, then the off ramp at the end where every one is getting off at is closed down to two lanes as well. So I spent the afternoon in the Cal-Trans circus of madness.

When your shooting a model with light weight portable gear, it is always the classy thing to have the model be the dead weight to keep the lights from blowing over in the wind. Chicks dig that sort of utilitarian utilizatioin more than you think, honestly.
