Pixar UP Blimp

The blimp that is used to advertisae the Disney Pixar movie "UP" at the Long Beach Municipal Airport.
I did try my hand at a little photo editing on this one, I took out the barbed wire that was in front of the blimp. If you look closely you can see it streaming out the back of the air ship.

Propaganda?

What sort of propaganda is this? It seems like Pol Pot might be doing well and recruting for the West Los Angeles chapter of the Khmer Rouge. This is the sort of shit that the "greens" want? I seem to remember the killing fields and don't think that it was such a utopian scociety that was saving the planet.

Who is the bigger intellectual property asshole? Is it the artist who has amassed a small fortune based on "appropriation" yet still sends cease and desist letters to other artists for appropriating his work?

Or is it the largest (and only) US based nationally-oriented news service which fails to recognize "fair use" even when it literally stares them in the face?

This tower is off of interstate 8 along the US Mexican boarder. The flat land in the back ground is Mexico. The dirty black smudge just to the right of the tower is the clean air in Mexico, No AQMD. We are trying to clean up the environment? what about south of the boarder?

Mac Mini as a HTPC

Well more to the point, I am lazy, I like my lazy boy and wish I could surf the internet on my TV while sitting on my lazy boy.
So with that said I have a new project to keep me occupied.
While doing the research on this (And finding that it isn't the best way of doing things, but it is elegant) I came across an article on PBS.org on the Mac Mini and other Apple products that share the same footprint. It is well worth a read.

Took this picture using a light box and a forward firing flash on the camera and one shooting down from above. The camera was set at 1/60 of a second exposure, 35 mm focal length, and the aperture set to f/3.5 for sharpness and to kill the back ground.
