Work Work Work

Over the weekend we had strong winds in the southland.
Often with the gusts come fires in the local hills and Malibu burns to the ground and here on the west side the power shuts off and the line condition goes to hell.. lots of spikes and brown power.

It was on one of these events that my computer running windows vista while sleeping in hibernate mode like some over stuffed grizzly got a rude shock to the system and promptly did what windows does best, it crashed.

Not just a little crash, but a "you just lost fucking everything!" crash. Humm... I thought and worked and worked only to have to do a clean install and loose fucking everything.

This would not be blog worthy if it were not for the fact that this has happened to me a handfull of times and on one occasion it actually killed my computer, Fryed the mother board and all was lost, so being a chuckle head I finaly did what I should have done so long ago and invested in a battery back up.

Drive

To say that I do a lot of driving is quite the understatement. For the next couple of months all I have time for is work, sleep, and driving.
