Long Exposure Noise Reduction

This was a long exposure with noise reduction shot of the night.
I am suffering from some pretty heavy lens flare but the colors and composition came out nice.

I shot this on a tripod with a shutter delay of 2 seconds to get the camera steady for the long exposure.

The lens is a Sigma 17-35mmD (the old one with the 82mm filter size)

Focal Length 17.0mm (25mm equivalent in 35mm film)
20.0 second exposure time
F/4.8 aperture
at an ISO of 800

In the early afternoon this fine outstanding citizen was loitering out in front of a building on Birtch Street at the corner of Primrose for about an hour or so... silver Nisan Pathfinder, license number 4NDC839. Hispanic male with a dark baseball cap. Spent some time on the phone before leaving.. now you are here..

Saturday in the kitchen

So for the better part of six months I was working 75 miles from home and away from home for six days a week with just enough time to sleep and do basic stuff before I had to go back to work.
I had one day a week to do all I needed to do.

So some things slipped..

Couple of months ago I cooked some rice in my fancy rice cooker, at about half of it and then wend to sleep for work the next morning.. Totally forgetting that there was half a pot of rice in the cooker...

Well, today I tackled that bacteriological nightmare and cleaned the mold and rice out.. Talk about a stench, enough to gag a maggot... Real vial...

But it is done, now I am just working on finding any other little bit that might have gotten away from me in my semi absence from home. I think I might have forgotten some left overs in the fridge.. That I will deal with on another day.
