MF lens night shot of neon
Gus's BBQ is supposed to be a really good place to get some good food.
So although I do love this 105mm manual focus lens I am learning that it is more of a day light lens even thought it is pretty darn fast at f2.5. It has a wild bokeh that is really sensitive and a very narrow focal zone which leaves the out of focus area dramatically out of focus. Good for portraiture but not walk around.
This photo was taken at f2.5 1/60 at iso200. Should have been sharper, but my shaky hands and focus issues got in the way.

Taking a crappy shot and making it a little less crapy.
This is really the same picture, processed on the left and as shot on the right. The camera can get a dynamic range in the contrast but it some times takes a little out of camera developing. Much like in the days of film, there was only so much you did in the camera and a lot of the magic was in the dark room.
